It had grand palaces, bustling markets, and beautiful temples. Over 10,000 people lived happily in this kingdom. However, overnight, the entire population vanished, leaving behind a ghost town of empty ruins.The Curse of the Black Magic Tantrik (The Mystery)According to local legends and historical folklore, the destruction of Bhangarh was caused by a dark curse.The princess of Bhangarh, Ratnavati, was exceptionally beautiful. A local sorcerer or tantrik named Singhia fell desperately in love with her. Knowing he could never marry her, he tried to use a black magic love potion on the princess.However, Princess Ratnavati saw through his trick and threw the enchanted potion onto a massive boulder nearby. The magic backfired. The heavy boulder rolled down and crushed the tantrik to death.Before taking his last breath, the dying tantrik cursed the entire fort, stating that everyone in the palace would die, and their souls would remain trapped inside the ruins forever, never to be reborn.

                            

The Mysterious Crime and MassacreShortly after the curse, a bloody war broke out between Bhangarh and the neighboring kingdom of Ajabgarh. The entire royal family, including Princess Ratnavati, was brutally massacred. The thriving city was completely destroyed.Since that day, no one has been able to rebuild or stay in the town.
